1. What is a LeadMe form?

A LeadMe form is a tool for creating a two way communication avenue between people and and content creators. In this scenario, a content creators is considered to be anyone who wants to offer value to the community via offered services, information or products. Wether you have a small business, a blog, an online shop, or anything in between, you can use LeadMe forms to offer even more value to your customers and followers while establishing a lasting way to continue to communicate with them by growing your email list.

 

When you offer a giveaway, or coupon, or a free download, you show everyone how much you care. Generosity is the best way to grow in life. You can easily offer your audience something they are interested in. In exchange, they will be glad to enter your email list, which will allow them to receive even more of your valuable content.

 

Please remember to publish your form once you are finished adjusting all the settings. You can publish your form by clicking on the "Edit Form" link for that form on the LeadMe Manager page. You will have 3 options: "No", "Yes - Public", and "Yes - Private".

"NO" = the form will not be visible to the public.

"Yes - Public" = the form will be published and visible to the public and included in your Offers page.

"Yes - Private" = the form will be published and visible to the public only via the direct link you share; it will not be included in your Offers page. This useful when you want to have specific forms for different occasions, such as special forms for meeting someone in person, for demo parties, special offers for select customers, etc.

 

 

2. What options can I include on my LeadMe Forms?

The options for your forms will vary depending on the type of membership you have. But with all memberships, you will be able to include one of the following:

- Free download

- A coupon code (enter your own code)

- A number for a giveaway (the number is generated automatically)

 

You will also be able to add text to the landing page your form will be displayed. To add text to the page and publish the form, click on the link "Edit Page" on the "LeadMe Manager" page. You can also choose a banner to represent the type of offer and engagement your form is all about.

 

For the Basic Free Membership:

- Available fields: Name, phone number, email

- Offer Image: choose 1 out of your 3 uploaded images

- Downloadable File: choose 1 out of your 3 uploaded files  

 

For Plus, Pro and Premium memberships:

- Available fields:

       * Name, or first name and last name

       * Phone number, address, text area, url

       * Up to 5 radio button options

       * Up to 5 checkbox options

- Offer Image: choose 1 out of your 25 uploaded images

- Downloadable File: choose 1 out of your 25 uploaded files

 

 

3. What is an Interactive Digital Business Card?

This is a very exciting option for your LeadMe form. You can create an interactive digital business card that can help you increase your reach. Typical digital business cards are not much different from paper business cards. Meaning, there is no real interaction between the the person who handed the card and the one who received it. The Ideas N Things approach to digital business cards is a bit different.

 

The goal here is to get you to interact in a meaningful way with anyone you share your information with. By offering even more value through your business card, you will open yet another opportunity to engage with more people. Simply exchanging business cards does not equal true engagement with your content. On the other hand, when you present people content they are already interested in a way that is very easy for them to go for that free download or giveaway, they will likely go for the chance to further explore what you have to offer. That's when you can experience solid growth.

5. What options can I include with my Interactive Digital Business Cards?

The options for your forms will vary depending on the type of membership you have. But with all memberships, you will be able to include one of the following:

- Free download

- A coupon code (enter your own code)

- A number for a giveaway (the number is generated automatically)

 

You will also be able to add text to the landing page your card will be displayed. To add text to the page and publish the form, click on the link "Edit Page" on the "LeadMe Manager" page. You will be able to select which business card you would like to be displayed in your Business Page.

 

Each business card you create can include up to 8 contact items for your business, which you can be edited in your Profile page. This is the case no matter what membership type you have. You can include the following information:

- Email

- Phone number

- Instagram handle (displayed as a link to your Instagram page)

- Facebook handle (displayed as a link to your Facebook page)

- Twitter handle (displayed as a link to your Twitter page)

- Youtube channel (displayed as a link to your Youtube channel)

- Your website url (displayed as a link to your website)

- Other: use this for any other social media platform, your address, another website, etc. You have the option to add a url to this information

 

For the Basic Free Membership:

- Available fields: Name, phone number, email

- Offer Image: choose 1 out of your 3 uploaded images

- Downloadable File: choose 1 out of your 3 uploaded files  

 

For Plus, Pro and Premium memberships:

- Available fields:

       * Name, or first name and last name

       * Phone number, text area

- Offer Image: choose 1 out of your 25 uploaded images

- Downloadable File: choose 1 out of your 25 uploaded files

 

 

6. What is a Business Page?

As we always say, one of our goals is to expand the way you think about advertisement. Everyone who registers with Ideas N Things can have their own Business Page. Even if you have the Basic Free Membership. Think of your Business Page as a big ad. In this page, you can include some of your products, tell everyone a bit about your business, and display one of your business cards. Every page will include a link to all the offers you decided to include in your Offers page as well.

You can also choose to list your business in our business directory, called "Let's Connect". Be creative and share the link to your page, and get more people to check out your offers. To add your page to the directory, simply click on your Profile link on your Dashboard. When you are in edit mode of your Profile, go to the Business Page tab and select "Yes" to the dropdown field called "Include Business Page in Directory".

 

For the Basic Free Membership:

- Include up to 3 products with images and links

 

For Plus, Pro and Premium memberships:

- Include up to 12 products with images and links

 

 

7. What other advertisement opportunities will I get when I sign up for one of the paid memberships?

When you are a premium member, meaning you signed up for either the Plus, Pro or Premium memberships, you get extra perks! Besides being able to upload more images, more files, store thousands more leads, and have access to more form colors and field options, you will be able to get extra opportunities for advertisement throughout the Ideas N Things website. Premium member's offers are randomly displayed on different pages of our website, including the Home Page! This translates into more traffic to your content.

 

Another perk is that you will have the chance to have some of your Business Page products displayed on the Let's Connect business directory page! The products are chosen randomly with each page refresh. So everyone potentially has an equal chance to have their products seen all the time.

 

 

8. How do I create and edit a form or Business Card?

Creating forms and business cards is easy! You can do all of these steps from the LeadMe Manager page.

Step 1: Make sure you have an image uploaded if you want your form to display an image of your offer. Adding an image is totally optional though. You can upload, and edit your images by clicking on the Step 1 Upload Image link in the LeadMe Manager page.

Step 2: If you are including a free download, make sure you have uploaded your file before starting to work on your form. You can add and edit your files by clicking on the Step 2 Upload File link in the LeadMe Manager page. If your offer does not include a file and includes a coupon code or unique number for a giveaway, you can skip sep 2.

Step 3: Create your form! Click on Step 3 Create a Form link on the LeadMe Manager page. You will be directed to the page where you will select all the options for your new form or business card. Click on the Preview button on the Botton once you are done to see a general concept of how your form will look like. If you need to make modifications to the settings, make sure you click on the "Preview" button again so the Preview form can reflect those changes as well. Once you are happy with how your form looks like, click on the "Save" button at the end of the Preview form so it can save it to the list of forms you see in the LeadMe Manager page.

 

If you want to include some text for the landing page where your form will be, click on the "Edit Page" link of that form. You will be able to add your text there as well as choose how you want to publish your form. Please see questions 1 and 3 for details on the 3 publishing options.

 

To edit a form or business card, click on the "Edit Form" link for that form and you will be directed to the "Create a Form"page again but all the form settings to the form you want to edit will be already loaded. Make all the changes you want and then click on the "Preview" button to see a preview of your form. If you need to adjust again any of the settings, make sure to hit that "Preview" button again so the Preview form can refresh and reflect the new changes. Once you are happy with the form, click on the "Save" button on the Preview Form to save your changes and return to the LeadMe Manager. 

 

 

9. How do I add images and files to go with my LeadMe Forms and Digital Business Cards?

From your Dashboard, click on the link "LeadMe Manager". There, you will see a link to Add and Manage Images and a link toAdd and Manage Files. Click on the desired link. The amount of files and images you will be able to add depends on the type of membership you have. See FAQ #2 for details.

 

 

10. How do I add product images to my Business Page?

From your Dashboard, click on the Profile link to edit it. Go to your Business Page tab. You will be able to add and edit your products from there. The number of products you can upload and manage will depend on your membership type. See FAQ #6 for details.
